Flash Menu Experiment

A project, tsunamiTest.swf, that I’m working on incorporating this Building A Tsunami tutorial on actionscript.org. Still some fine tuning to do.

This trial expands on the original tutorial example by incorporating text fields to make the menu items selectable. The next step is dynamically generating the menu items from an external file and enabling HTML links from the menu items.

Another link for my own reference, slayeroffice | tools | color palette creator v1.4. This javascript tool calculates values for color gradients on different backgrounds. It does not help you select good colors that go well together.

On a meta note, I keep linking to all these articles but rarely seem to refer back to them. But the few that I have referred back to have been very helpful.
